About

Empowering Therapy Focused on YOUR specific Needs and Goals

Are you tired of overthinking everything? Are intense thoughts and emotions stopping you from living the life you desire? Do you feel stuck and unsure how to move forward? I provide individual and group counseling to pre-teens, adolescents, and adults. Each healing journey is unique and not always linear. I create a safe space for you to be accepted exactly where you are in your personal journey. My areas of specialized experience and interest include anxiety, social anxiety, “over-thinking”, perfectionism, bullying, parenting, post-partum adjustment, grief/loss, adjustment to disability/diagnosis, chronic illness/pain, trauma (PTSD, domestic violence, abuse, sexual assault), trauma related to identity (i.e., racism, ableism, homophobia, ageism). I am committed to social justice, and incorporate approaches that honor and value diverse identities. I am LGBTQ+ affirming. I use evidence-based strategies including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Experiencing, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Shame Resiliency. Perhaps most importantly, I empower you to tune in to your inner wisdom. Credentials: I am a Licensed Social Work Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC), WA credential #SC61085583, working under the Clinical Supervision of Dr. Stephen T. Wilson, PhD, MSW, LICSW (Credential Number LW00006074). Education: Masters of Social Work (MSW) from University of Washington I accept HSA accounts and offer a tiered system of payment. I do not panel with insurance. I offer superbills for out-of-network benefits. “If you put shame in a petri dish, it needs three ingredients to grow exponentially: secrecy, silence, and judgement. If you put the same amount of shame in the petri dish and douse it with empathy, it can’t survive.” -Brené Brown
